Guidelines for Group Project
In this exercise, students form small groups of 3-4 members to handle one assigned topic from the followings:

1. Elaboration of Code of Practice can improve Ethics for IT Professionals.
2. Elaborate problems of Cyber bullying, and make suggestions to alleviate its impacts.
3. Your company wants to monitor employee’s Internet activities, email and telephone records and other activities by installing web and video surveillance. You are the IT person responsible. Consult the guidelines issued by PDPO to develop a good practice.
4. Discuss the role of IT Professionals to provide equal opportunities for staff/clients with physical disabilities.
5. Elaboration of i-injuries issues of using smart device and handheld device
6. Elaborate on the practice and trend of Green Data Center, and its impact to the environment.

Group report
At the last session, each group has to write a report of at least 10 pages on the assigned topic. The 10 pages report AND other materials such as PPT (or scripts), must be handed in immediately after the presentation.

Individual Presentation
During the tutorial session, each group has to give a 15-minute time slot for their oral presentation in English (each member is about 5 min). Typically, you can present your research finding of the assigned topic. Alternatively, you can also use role-play, debate or other format to bring out the findings related to your assigned topic. Your works should be followed by 2~3 minutes of questions and answers (Q&A). All presentation must be conducted in English. Assessment is based on the content and quality of the presentation (or role play, debate).

Warning: You should do some research, such as cases that related to ICT. Simply repeating lecture materials receive zero marks.

The break-down of the assessment are:
Group Report & Individual presentation 30%
Group report: 15%
Individual presentation : 15%
