“SIBerNet” is the Internet Banking Services of South Indian Bank Ltd, which allows its customers to avail the bank’s services through Internet. Advantages of SIBerNet:

 Services available for 24 hours a day X 7 days a week X 365 days a year
 Accessible from any where in the world using Internet

Inquiries – Real-Time Online

 Get/View complete details of all your accessible accounts (SB/Deposit/Loan/…)
 Print/Save the pass-sheet of any of your Operative accounts for any period
 Cheque Status Inquiry
 Clearing Instruments Inquiry
 Lien Inquiry
 Nominee Inquiry
 Interest Details of Deposit Accounts
 Print pass-sheet of any loan account for any period

Funds Transfer – Real-Time Online

On-line Real-Time Fund Transfer facilities are provided to customers:

 Transfer Funds between your own accounts within the Bank
 Transfer Funds from your account to another account within the Bank
 Make an instant Fund Transfer or Schedule a Transfer for a future date
 View Pending Transfers, if any
 Inquire status of all Fund Transfers initiated

Utility Bills Presentments

As and when the Bank finalizes business tie-ups with various Service providers, the utility Bills Presentments facility will be gradually made available to the customers. This shall be an on-going process wherein, Bank ties-up with Billing companies (Billers) for electronically presenting bills to the customers of the Bank. Through this solution, Customers can manage electronically presented bills. The following are the basic functionality available to the Internet Banking Customer of the Bank:

 View a list of presentment Billers with whom the bank has tied up.
 Register with a Biller.
 Set/modify nickname for Biller
 De-register a Biller
 View list of pending payments
 Schedule a presented bill for payment on a future date or make an instantaneous payment.
 Set up automatic payments upto certain amounts
 Reject a Bill pending acceptance/payment.
 View list of payments made.

Utility Bills Payments

Bills Payments functionality is not restricted to Billers with whom the bank has tied up. Customers can pay bill to standard payees (e.g. Utility companies. These payees are maintained by the bank) or to non-standard payees (e.g. Suppliers, Landlord etc. Customers ,can add these payees). The following features are supported:

 Add/ Modify/Delete Standard and Non-standard payees.
 Schedule payment for a future date or make an instantaneous payment.
 View scheduled payments
 Modify/delete a scheduled payment
 Make an ad hoc payment (i.e. without adding the payee as a personal payee).
 Add/ Modify/Delete Recurring Payment

External shopping Mall

This module caters to the online settlement of payments to merchants through 3rd party websites, where the payment can be settled through the seamless interface to Bank’s Internet Banking System. This product module helps the customers to place order for e-shopping with ability to make electronic payments and settlements. As and when the Bank finalizes business tie-ups with various Service providers, the External Shopping Mall facility will be gradually made available to the customers. This shall be an on-going process wherein, Bank ties-up with various companies for electronic shopping.

 The customer can make investment / credit decisions based on Deposit / Loan modeling tools

Security Features

 The software is from M/s Infosys Technologies Ltd., a leading Indian Software House
 For entering User Login-ID and the Password, the concept of Virtual Key Board (VKB) is introduced for improved system security
 Digital Certification from Verisign, a global pioneer in e-security ensuring 128-bit encryption
 We have complied with Global Standards while implementing the various layers of security features such as Firewalls and Anti-Virus
 We are offering SIBerNet services for Retail (Individuals/Proprietorship Concerns) and Corporate (Companies/Partnership Firms) customers. The additional services available to the Corporate customers are as follows:

Multiple Users  The Corporate can apply Internet Banking facility for use by the different officials of their company, responsible for operations in their bank accounts. The Corporate also has the facility of setting up Work-Flow rules (i.e. hierarchical rules for approving requests within the organization). The Corporate can also restrict the accounts details from being shown to different users, based on their designations, roles, divisions, etc. (e.g. Divisional Manager – Production, Regional Manager – Finance, etc.). This would ensure confidentiality in the Corporate Accounts.

Limits  The Corporate user can view the Corporate Limits granted to the different linked accounts maintained in all the branches of South Indian Bank, with the actual consumption of Limits.
