Synopsis:
Industrial visit of two days for MET-PGDM First Year students was organised by college on 30th Nov & 1st Dec 2012. In two days visit to four different types of industries was scheduled. 1) 2) 3) 4) BRFL (Bombay Rayon Fashions Ltd.) Neelkamal Plastics Sterling Generators Pvt. Ltd. – (Sterling & Wilson) Voltas Chiller Plant
Analysis of above mentioned industries was to be done as per below mentioned parameters: Documentation of all processes inward/outward Logistics of inward/outward Stores operations, ledgers and interaction with accounts dept. Manufacturing process, layouts, equipment for mall handling HR Issues- records, union dealings etc. Marketing info (may not be full but whatever can be obtained) Management - mission etc.
Apart from these industries, a visit to local market was also scheduled.
