Incident Observation Paper

(1) On 06/00/2015 at approximately 0000hrs, I officer J, Ramsey was on duty as a patrolman for the city of Nixon. I was headed to the city yard for refueling in unit 003 while traveling S on Washington St. I observed a red Mercury Cougar bearing Texas LP-000000 parked in front of a residence across from the Laundromat, located at the corner of N Washington & 3rd St. Once I began my tour of duty I was informed by my patrol sergeant of an incident that had occurred the previous night in the early morning hours, a burglary and two vehicles were stolen from Hardy’s Bluff next to the PD.

While informed about a possible location that they were staying at, he was able to locate the residence and spotted the red Mercury Cougar. While looking into the windows to see if the stolen items were in sight, he observed on the front seat of the vehicle a black bag with a pipe and brass knuckles hanging out in plain view. The informant told the sergeant that those items were in that vehicle such as the brass knuckles, a pipe, and drugs and possibly the stolen
