What is considered a perfect day for you? Relaxing with close friends by your side? Going on a journey to your dream vacation? Maybe taking a walk with nature and enjoying its beauty? Well whatever it could be, Sony believes that the most perfect day is playing together with your friends on the newly developed PlayStation 4.Through the fantasy world of gaming where the pair of friends role played notorious videogames and reminisced to a heartfelt singalong, it can be imagined that the PlayStation 4 can remake the imagination of the people through the games the console would be provided with. Furthermore, the intense action and humoristic irony throughout the whole commercial can make this ad the most memorable for those individuals who witnessed it. Significantly, the humorous irony plays a major role in the effectiveness throughout the whole commercial since it is truly memorable. The humorous irony comes in to play because both the actors blissfully sung the song “The Perfect Day” as each of them tried to happily kill each in each of the different fantasy worlds of gaming. Furthermore, the commercial actively used the humorous irony to not only make the commercial more memorable, but to express that even through playing the console, the consumer would always be ecstatic regardless of winning or losing in a game. Notably, this technique delivers the overall message that the PlayStation 4 would mostly likely bring happiness to anyone who plays it through having countless genres for everybody to experience and also creating an euphoric tone.
