    * Domain members rely heavily on DNS services to locate domain resources. For example, when a domain-joined computer boots, it queries domain Service Locator records (SRV) in DNS to locate a Domain Controller against which to authenticate. Without a local DNS instance, this process has to take place over a potentially slow site link. Of course, once a computer has located a Domain Controller, it will continue to authenticate against that server until it something forces the client to find another DC.…

They sailed over from England, all seeking glorified opportunities. These English colonists sought out an opportunity when boarding ships and leaving the Old World to travel to the exciting unknown; but each person had their own unique desire. These unique desires led to the many diverse societies that spread all throughout the eastern sea board of the New World by the 1700’s. Religious tolerance, organization in government, and economic stability were all contributing factors to the differences New England and Chesapeake Bay regions had.…

Between 600 and 1450 CE., trade and exchange continually remained important and influential in around Eurasia and as well as in the Mexica society. Trade and exchange were main ideas that were both useful and necessary for success during this time. In Eurasia the use of the Silk Road and the Indian Ocean were both used as important trade routes. The Monsoons in the Indian Ocean were able to widen their agricultural standpoint allowing them to trade internally not only with their new goods but also with specific regions and their goods. In the Mexica society, surrounding territories had to pay a tribute to the Aztec capital and also had traded with surrounding areas. In the Islamic empires, goods such as cotton and spices were traded which were a continuous trade, in addition to the use of the Silk Road and the Indian Ocean, however, this led to new inventions, which then created the Aztec empire and later the crusades.…

Both texts use presentational and language devices in order to promote light water valley and Lego land. The light water valley brochure uses informal language and an exciting tone to help persuade teachers in to organising reward trips. In contrast the Lego land promotional video is set to persuade parents/ families so the adults can relax in the hotel or lobby whilst the children enjoy themselves, playing in the resort. Therefore is suitable for all ages. One effective presentational device used in the Lego Land promotional video is the logo. The logo is near to the sun which connotes that the Lego land is in another dimension. Furthermore, the logo shows Lego Land is so irresistible and so wonderful that it cannot be contrasted to earth and that Lego Land has taken us a life of its own. It is further enhanced by the way that a flag is conserved on the logo. This is similar to when an astronaut reaches the moon they put their flag to indicate their journey and accomplishment and this is linked to the way that, by reaching Lego Land and experiencing Lego Land it gives an individual a sense of triumph. This is compared with the way that the Light Water Valley brochure has a logo which has swirls that appear to be coming out of it, which makes the reader link it to a portal or vortex. The effect this has is that it seems like a portal to another world or dimension, therefore sending the message that Light Water Valley is ‘out of this world’. Also it gives the audience a sense of sovereignty and freedom and makes the reader assume they are about to go on a journey. These logos are vital because they help the audience to identify these businesses with small images. This brand credit means that the logos get stuck in the audience’s head and help them to keep in mind the business from a small clue, the logo. The Light Water Valley logo is a bright oval shape with multi-coloured lettering and a simple explicit drawing of a roller coaster in the middle. While this theme…

To have a team that works well and is effective you need to have strong individuals who will work well together, a mix of different people with different strengths would be a good choice, but all would need to have some basic team working skills these include the ability to support each other, have the same goals, communicate effectively, be reliable, enthusiastic and have consistency. Each individual team member should be completely clear on their own roles and responsibilities included in their job description and confident in their role within the setting, if a staff member is not confident or is unsure they should be fully able to approach the team leader/manager to voice their concerns at this point managers or leaders would be able to provide necessary training or support and supervision. A team will work more effectively if they have confidence and respect for their leader/manager, someone who is able to confidently deal with situations, provide support where necessary and be a good role model. By having people on your team who are strong and confident you will achieve the best outcome for your setting, when looking for employees you should consider their roles as team players by assessing skills such as communication, can they communicate effectively within the team.
