The ocean, the desert, extremely tall mountains and very high platoons, all of these geographical barriers made it virtually impossible to get well into the thriving civilisation of Ancient China. Ancient China was a very lonely civilisation being so far away from any other major civilisations and having so many barriers protecting them from the outside world. While no other people came to Ancient China, it learnt many new things without anyone else to help them, but today in this modern time, how has the contribution of this ancient civilisation affected the world even today.

It was founded around the year 105, papermaking is an extremely important thing used all around the world. The cause of this invention was to make give people the opportunity to write their thoughts down on a small piece of material known as paper or in the Chinese traditional script of language, 紙. This invention, first made by the Chinese in there about the year 1000 AD is gunpowder and at first the Chinese really weren’t meant to make this. The cause was meant to be a potion which gave human mortality, this though very well did not happen. The interesting thing about the Chinese is that they didn’t even use the gunpowder for cannon making and guns, but for firecrackers. It is generally believed that gunpowder spread Europe during the Mongol expansion. This was founded by none other than Genghis Khan in the year 1206 (and ended during the year 1368), it encompassed the majority of the territories from southeast Asia to Eastern Europe. This empire’s only rival was the British Empire. The Europeans did not use the gunpowder mainly for harmless firecrackers, but for cannons and guns, and in the mid 1800’s the Europeans released their savageness onto China.
