Matthew 15:22-23-King James Version (KJV)
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
QUOTES ON GOD ANSWERS PRAYER:
1. God answers all prayers in three ways: Yes-because you deserve it. No-because you deserve better, And Not yet-because the best is yet to come.
2. If God answers your prayer, He is increasing your faith. If he delays, He is increasing your patience, if He doesn’t answer, He has something better for you.
3. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24.
4. Sometimes, God answers your prayers when we least expect it. Sometimes, God answers sharp and sudden on some prayers, and thrusts the thing we have prayed for in our face. Sometimes, God’s answers to our prayers may exceed our expectations.
5. What is God answers our prayers with the same POWER we pray for them?
6. God always respects our free will until he answers our prayers.
7. Be happy when God answers your prayer, But be more thankful when God makes you the answer to someone else’s prayer.
8. When we pray, God hears more than we say, answers more than we ask, gives more than we imagine….in his own time and in his own way.
9. I know the plans I have for you says the Lord; Plans for good/prosper and not disaster, to give you a future and hope. Jeremiah 29:11
10. I lift up my eyes to the mountains-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heave and earth. Psalm
