Roles and responsibilities of an Industrial Designer include:
• Participate in brainstorms that generate innovative ideas and contribute to design direction from project initiation.
• Create product designs that have a fresh perspective. Document product designs with great sketches, Computer Assisted Design renderings, and design documentation.
• Create 3D CAD models of intended design directions for the creation of prototypes or to communicate design intent to engineering teams.

He was born on February 24,
1955. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, and also has a biological sister. He attended Reed
College, and shortly thereafter dropped out, however he still visited courses. He and his best friend, Steve Wozniak, developed the original Apple I. They then founded Apple. When Jobs was fired from Apple, he founded NeXT computers. He also became the Chairman of Pixar, and assisted in the making of ‘Toy Story.’ In 1998, he was re-hired by Apple. He then hired Jony Ive, an industrial designer. Jobs and Ive worked together to design the iMac, which was a revolutionary computer in terms of design and functionality. Jobs married Laurene Jobs, and has four children; Reed, Erin, Eve, and Lisa. In 2005, Jobs was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
However, he quickly went into remission. In 2007, his health started to deteriorate. In 2011, he took a leave of absence from Apple as his health massively declined. On October 4, 2011, Steve
Jobs died at the age of 56. Apple shares quickly dropped more than 20%. His death provoked international news, and in the following weeks Apple stores around the world had thousands

    Steve Jobs founded Apple as a computer company in 1976 and ran it alongside founders Steve Wozniak, Ronald Wayne and investor Mike Markkula. He was a strong minded visionary and often went against other workers ideas. His first move was to dramatically cut the number of products being produced by Apple and focused on a simple matrix structure. He made a laptop for consumer users and a laptop for professional users and the same for desktop computers.
