The first day of my job

Yesterday was 5th of June, the first day of the ESL class and the first day of my job, what a bad coincident! Anyway after ESL class I went to work. I was familiar with the office and the workers because it was my brother’s office and my sister, who I have to sit in her place, was working there. I had visited the guy who was responsible of training me before he was amazing but I found him a little bit serious. He started to explain about the program that I had to work with. Everything was new, the files, the vocabulary that they use, and the computer program that I hadn’t worked with before. It wasn’t difficult but for the first day it was confusing I tried to take a note and memories the place of every files and invoices. Sometimes I made mistake but he was checking them and corrected them. He used to work with my sister who her English was better than me so he tried to make me like her in one day. After entering the numbers and prices in the computer he taught me to order the files by date. It was easy but I have to be careful. Any how I worked there till4:30 and then went home. What a busy day! The day before there was nothing to do and now there were a lot. I didn’t like to work there at first I took it for granted but after coming back home I thanked God because I had a job that I was looking for it more than 5 months.

    The first week of my On the Job Training (OJT), we welcomed by the employees of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). I felt nervous and excited because it is the second time that I will have my OJT. At nearly nineteen, I held my first working experience at RHA on second shift. RHA is a company for the mentally disabled and mentally challenged adults.     On July 31, 2013 I was on my way with a train call Herina with destination to Bandung. At that time, it was my first time on a train. I was a little bit disappointed, I told myself that “it is not a big deal; I still can go to tangkuban perahu whenever I want, Family come 1st” on the way to Jakarta my uncle jhon was already hospitalized at Husada hospital, it turned out that my uncle had appendicitis so the doctors need to make a surgery, fortunately it was not too late. The operation went well, and the doctor said that my uncle will recovery within a week. To be honest, I’m not so interested anymore to think about my holiday, because I thought, this is the end of my journey; my family will have to look after my uncle. So “that was it” said to myself, but a miracle happened because 4 days since my uncle was hospitalized, he recovery very fast, even the doctor seems amazed with my uncle.
