Fifa 15 Persuasive Speech
Soccer to the Next Level You can hear the crowd cheering while Lionel Messi, one of the greatest players in the world, sets up for a free kick. The roaring crowd was chanting his name as they held a F.C. Barcelona flag up. You can see the sweat on his forehead drip down his face. You can see the wrinkles his shirt makes as he moves around. This is what FIFA 15 can offer you. It offers much more than any other FIFA game. Although FIFA 14 was the first FIFA game to appear on a Next Gen console, FIFA 15 is superior. FIFA 15 brings out the most sensational detail out of the whole franchise. It takes FIFA to a new level, exclusively on the Xbox One and the Play Station 4. The EA Sports Ignite game engine blurs the line between the virtual and the real world.
With well-improved upgrades to the goalkeepers, EA Sports finally made satisfying changes to one of the most important players on the field in FIFA 15. Now goalkeepers are more fluid and aware of the soccer ball. In addition, it brings advanced realism to the way goalkeepers react to shots. They are better at making decisions when going towards the soccer ball. Unfortunately, the changes to the goalkeeper only apply to the Next Gen consoles like Xbox One.

The crowd is now much more engaged into the game. You can hear them cheer for a player or say a brief chant. The crowd comes to life in FIFA 15. The goal in soccer is on ground, while the goal in American football is in the air. In football, each time you score is called a “touchdown” that’s worth 6 points, whereas in soccer, you only receive 1 point, which is called a “gol.” American football players must wear a helmet and body protectors, however, in soccer you are forbidden from wearing these. The second most striking difference between these two sports is the way to pass the ball. Soccer players must pass the ball by their legs, and passing by hand is not allowed for them, except the goalkeeper. He can touch it with his hand only in one area. Unlike soccer players, American football players can pass the ball by hands or…

Football over the Years Everything changes over time, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, and others you can’t really tell it has changed at all but in football you can easily tell the changes it has been through over the years. When American football was born it was an all-white sport played with hardly no equipment for protection except for a leather helmet to protect your head, the game was played on hard dirt and as you can expect, injuries were constant and some deaths even occurred from the brutal hits and the missing component of protection equipment.…

With advancements in science, the coaches and spectators are not as nervous to watch football games because serious injury is not as common. But more can be done! For instance making the facemask softer can help prevent injury because it will make players think twice before sticking their head in a big hit situation. Goal line technology is a widely debated topic in the soccer industry. There are many reasons for it as there are many reasons against it. In professional soccer though, goal line technology would be a big mistake to implement. It would make the sport too different than what it was intended to be. Soccer was a sport that was intended to be with eleven players on each team in a field with two line-men and a center referee.…

Now that you have an idea of the rules of professional soccer, I will continue to explain the popularity and passion of the game. Soccer is very widely played all over the world. The most prestigious international soccer competition is that of the world cup, held every four years, it lasts about a month, the most recent one being held in South Africa world cup 2010. With more than a billion viewers a day and tuned in to approximately 30 billion times, it is more popular than the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Masters, and the NBA finals. One reason many researchers believe it is so popular, especially in third world countries is because of the lack of things needed in order to play. All you need is a goal and a ball. Soccer is so much a part of so many people’s everyday lives.…

Set pieces in FIFA 17 have been completely changed and it is not as accurate anymore. In FIFA 15 there seems to be a constant so if you miss aim it by 5 feet you miss by 5 feet but in 17 the ball could go anywhere. This becomes really frustrating for most players, like myself who have spent a lot of time working on free kicks and have just recently mastered them. Corner kicks are also completely different because its easy to score but also easy to defend while the aimer help is on, but once turned off you could kick it anywhere which is not good. So the only time the aimer would actually help is when you are not playing local because they would be able to see where you are going to kick it.…
