Explain Why It Would Be Fun To Have A Twin
It Would Be Fun to Have a Twin It would be fun to have a twin. If I had a twin we would dress up as creepy dolls and scare people. Scaring people would be fun. Just imagine two creepy life size dolls chasing after you down a street. Creepy, right? Another reason I want a is to tell secrets to her. We look the same so it is like trusting yourself. We would also trick our parents by saying “I’m the other twin”, because then they would be confused. The last reason I would want a twin is so we could see how outfits looked like us. It would be like looking in a real life mirror. Being a twin would be fun. Do you think so?

"Can this damned demon hurry up?" he heard a female voice say. He heard a sullen male voice reply in an annoyed manner. "Dear sister..." He sneered, sarcastic. "Patience is key." Will just heard her scoff and mutter hatred towards the boy. Will appeared, his eye closed. There was laughing. He opened it and saw two twins laughing. One was in a skimpy outfit and she had long brown hair. The other was in a suit and had short curly hair with a big dipper birthmark being proudly shown off. From the beginning of when I can remember everything has been shared. Birthday parties, celebrations, pictures, graduation day and even small things like a room when I was younger. But I never minded it. Sharing with my twin brother seemed natural and it was almost strange that everyone else didn’t share like we did. But it seemed that everyone else didn’t think that we liked to share with each other. Throughout my childhood, I remember family and friends poking fun at our shared birthday parties with comments like “Don’t you wish you had your own party?” My answer is no. Many of my family members held the idea that sharing everything and ultimately being a twin was wretched…

For as long as I can remember, my brother and I were the best of friends. From both having palindromic names to bonding over far-flung adventures across the world, Otto and I were inseparable. Although we were a year and a half apart, the countless similarities we shared convinced people we were twins. Our childhood days were spent reenacting Scooby-Doo episodes, building Lego creations, and reading The Magic Treehouse books before bed. As the…

I belong to the classification of people know as educators. I am a teacher and unfortunately, I am not a mother. Yet. Just recently my younger sister of 28 years, just gave birth to her third child. The most beautiful seven point fifty-two pound little baby girl. With hair brown like melted chocolate and eyes the color of honey, dressed up in a pink mommy’s little girl onesie. I see her kids every day and I see other parent’s kids every day too, but why don’t I have any of my own. I thought about that as I sat there rocking little Evelyn in my arms and it suddenly occurred to me that I, too, would like to be a mother. Being a twin has also allowed me to branch out of my comfort zone. Growing up with someone always supportive of me has taught me to believe in myself and not falter easily. In doing so I have forged a strong sense of security and self-confidence. For example, at a summer camp I went to with my brother last summer, UC COSMOS, I had no problem sitting down at a lunch table with total strangers and introducing myself. Even though my brother was not with me at the table I knew if I felt alarmed or needed help he would be there for me. This sense of comfort which allows me to do things I would not normally do is the number one reason why my brother and I want to go to the same college. Of course we will not be roommates and have different classes, but the idea of having my twin on the same campus as me makes all the…

I was cleaning out mum’s belongings for a few hours when something caught my eye. It was an ultrasound…of twins. I thought back to my past life and never saw a pair of twins in my life. Neither mum, nor dad ever talked about me having twin cousins. I was starting to think that mum just kept this ultrasound because she felt like it but something else caught my eye. The date on the bottom right hand corner stated that the ultrasound was taken on the 2nd of July 1998. Later on, I found a note that read, “Ultrasound of Georgia and Emma ❤.” It was only then that I realized what mum meant the other day about me taking something important away from her but it wasn’t my fault. I didn’t kill my twin sister. I slowly sat on mum’s bed and imagined what life would be like right now if I had a twin sister. Did I kill my twin sister before we were born? A few minutes later, I heard mum’s voice – the tunnel, Emma. I didn’t even know what that meant. I did everything to try understanding what they meant by ‘the tunnel’ but it was no good so I decided it was time to go to bed since it was a lot for me to take in and if I stayed up trying to discover new things, my head might…

As years went on and I turned fifteen, my sister and I started drifitng apart and we did not talk as much as we used to. The following summer I went to a cheer/gymnastics camp and she ended up being there and we got recconeted, and when we got back home we started hanging out more and we then talked everyday. Honestly, I am so thankful that we did, because you never know when it might be too late. As soon was drawing nearer and nearer I started to notice that my sister (My twin) was getting depressed and starting to shut everyone out, we all tried to talk to her, but she would not talk back.
