“Give me liberty, or give me death!” is a great example of freedom because the early english settlers of the United States wanted to be free of the grasp of Great Britain and the founding fathers fought for it politically in the Revolutionary War. You can express your opinion and won’t go to jail for it. You can disagree with what someone says, but you are free to do so because of the first amendment. This is, in my opinion, how the world should work. You should be able to say what you want, without malicious intent being obvious, and you won’t get fined, thrown in jail, or murdered.
The military is the one who fights for your freedom. They are the ones brave enough to go out in hostile territory fighting against the ones who want to strip you of your freedoms.
