“Show me the money, show me respect and show me attention … or show me the door” This is how most employees in the hospitality sector now a days view their relationship between the company and their job. Theory states that: in the earlier times people used to work according to the rising and setting of the sun. If companies expect their employees to work in a similar fashion then the way companies’ attempts to manage their talent would be lost in no time. If the company doesn’t pay attention to the absolute resource that it has- which are its employees then the company might as well lose their edge in being a success story! The peculiar case which distinguishes the hotel industry with the other businesses is that the duration and working scenario is very different from that of other companies....
