AC1) Explain why working in partnership with others is important for children and young people.
It is important to work in partnership when caring for children and young people because it is vital that we make sure that the child is being cared for at the highest possible level. For example if we have a suspicion that a child is being neglected but we keep this suspicion to ourselves instead of informing the correct people, then maybe this case would never be solved and outcome could be very serious and even life threatening.

For example if we pick up a child from school and that child fell and bumped their head in school but due to lack of communication this information was not passed on to us. That child could suffer from blurry vision later on in the day and we'd have no explanation. This could also be something small like telling a parent what their child has had to eat so they don't have the same thing at home.
