Day Zimmerman Internship Report
I did my first 6 months internship at Day&Zimmerman. A typical day at work would involve monitoring corporate and remote sites' nodes. Maintaining optimized utilization of networking hardware and if any issues arose, I opened appropriate tickets with the ISP to insure high availability.

During this position, I got hands-on experience supporting, maintaining, and configuring Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls. In addition, I worked very closely with senior network admin. Therefore, shadowing him configure and set up advance network equipment such as nexus and F5 load balancer was a plus. I also put my previous technical skills into use while troubleshooting, creating Visio charts, and providing excellent over the phone assistance. I was
