DCI Mission Statement

DCI (Drum Corp International) is a professional marching band competition where Brass, drumline, and color guard perform with no woodwinds. DCI has been having a downward trend, but the corp members still continue to march the corps they want to regardless of this fact. DCI in a way is a connector, mason, and trendsetter because even with its downward trend in interest it’s making money, connecting people, and changing the marching and performing arts. DCI’s mission statement is “We seek to promote and inspire unparalleled excellence in music and performing arts throughout the world”(DCI) They want to improve marching band and inspire others to help.
