As Stacy sat in the cold and tiny room thinking about the life inside of her, she couldn’t help but to feel nervous and her hands began to sweat profusely. Another reason critics could argue that abortions are fine and should be legal is the fact that they are safe when it comes to the actual procedure. One would understand completely in the case of rape or incest why the woman would want an abortion. Forcing a woman made pregnant by one of these violent acts to continue on with the pregnancy could possibly cause further psychological harm to the victim. But in a situation such as this the morning after pill would be very effective and could stop a fetus from even developing. Being that US is a free country a woman should have the ability to control her body and make her own decisions.
