Comparing Act 5 Of William Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet
In act four Juliet and Friar get together to talk about what they can do so that Juliet doesn't have to marry someone other than Romeo. Then Friar comes up with a crazy dangerous plan. Friar has a potion that will make Juliet seem dead but won't really dead. And after everyone thinks that she is dead, she will be taken to the family crypt, where Romeo can meet her after she wakes up. Juliet take the potion and goes home .

    Just before dawn, Romeo prepares to lower himself from Juliet’s window to begin his exile. Juliet tries to convince Romeo that the birdcalls they hear are from the nightingale, a night bird, rather than from the lark, a morning bird. Romeo cannot entertain her claims; he must leave before the morning comes or be put to death. Juliet declares that the light outside comes not from the sun, but from some meteor. Overcome by love, Romeo responds that he will stay with Juliet, and that he does not care whether the Prince’s men kill him. Romeo answers that, to him, she appears the same way, and that it is only sorrow that makes them both look pale. In the story, Friar acts as a reoccurring figure for advice to the two lovers, however, his advice and actions did not prove worthy. Friar married the two lovers, gave Juliet the sleeping potion that lead to her, Paris, and Romeo's death, and despite faking her death with the sleeping potion he waited until the final day of the potions lifespan to inform Romeo; because of his late delivery, the letter never reached Romeo.
