Compare Contrast Paper of a Service vs Manufacturing Business
In the world of business there are many different necessities. There needs to companies that special in service and others that specialize in manufacturing. While every company takes a slightly different approach to offer a product or service these approaches are necessary in order for there to be a variance and options within the business world. Capital One and DeZURIK are alike all other businesses in the sense that they both take their own unique approach in running their business in contrast to companies in similar fields. Capital One and DeZURIK have successfully learned what approach allows them to be successful in each of their fields, respectively. This paper will highlight various aspects of each company. This paper will take a somewhat in-depth approach as a means to expose what makes each of these companies successful while also comparing the differences of the two. In order to do these things, we must first become familiarized with each company. Capital One is a diversified company that offers a wide array of financial products and services to its customers. The customers include small businesses and commercial clients. Capital One is a Fortune 500 company and is one of the most widely recognized brands in America. As one of the nation’s top 10 largest banks based on deposits, Capital One serves banking customers through branch locations primarily in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Louisiana, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Capital One was founded in 1988 based on the belief that the power of information, technology, testing and great people could be combined to bring highly customized financial products directly to consumers. Since then, Capital One has emerged as one of America 's largest consumer franchises with more than 45 million customer accounts. The DeZURIK company was founded by an employee of a paper mill. The employee, Matt DeZURIK developed a revolutionary valve that eliminated a damage caused by
