Childish Decisions In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet shows the transformation from an impulsive child to a mature adult. Throughout the play their actions change them into who they become, therefore affect their decisions. Romeo and Juliet start of young with foolish decisions. Their decisions start to become more intelligent and they don't just think for themselves. In the end they both decide to choose their fates from each others misinterpreted deaths. But, when Romeo and Juliet meet they fell instantly in love.
Romeo and Juliet just know they were meant to be together from just talking once. Their names are their own enemy, but they think nothing of it. Is love at first sight possible? Maybe it is just a childish act where they think they were meant for each other. Romeo and Juliet do this when they first met.“ The measure is done, I’ll watch her place of stand,/ And, touching hers, make blessèd my rude hand./ Did my heart love till now? Juliet decides to fake her death and Friar Lawrence will tell Romeo to meet her at the tomb when she wakes up. This message doesn't get to Romeo. He heard about Juliet's death and came to the tomb to say his goodbyes. He made the decision he couldn't live without Juliet and drank poison. It was a very bold move to decide his fate, all he wanted was to be with Juliet. When Juliet woke up, she saw Romeo dead. She was heartbroken. She too decided she couldn't live without Romeo. They both chose their fate by ending their lives. This showed Romeo and Juliet were thoughtful and ambitious.
