William Shakespeare’s, Romeo and Juliet, is a tale of two star-crossed lovers who died tragic deaths. Romeo and Juliet both made horrible, quick decisions but, the one who made the worst decisions was Romeo. Mercutio, Tybalt, and Juliet’s lives were all affected by Romeo’s decisions. Romeo’s impulsive behavior negatively affects the three characters in this tragedy. Mercutio was the first death that Romeo caused. Romeo caused this because, he would not fight or stand up to Tybalt. Romeo does not stand up to Tybalt because, he is married to Juliet and now they are family and he doesn't want to fight family. Mercutio being the good friend that he is stood up to Tybalt for Romeo which later caused his death. It still wasn’t Mercutio’s fault that he was stabbed, Romeo himself got in the middle of this fight and Tybalt’s sword cut Mercutio. Romeo and all the others didn’t
This death was because of, bad communication. The message that Friar John was supposed to get to Romeo was held up. Shakespeare wrote, “ They sealed up our doors,and would not let us forth.” said Friar John. The message he needed to get to Romeo was very important, it was about Juliet and the plan. This plan was that Juliet will take a potion that makes her seem to be dead but, she is in fact still alive. Juliet says, “ Come vial…. I drink thee” and drinks the vial of the potion the Friar gave to her. The message also said that he needed to meet them at the place she was buried to get her when she wakes and leave the town forever. They were supposed to live happily ever after, but Romeo in fact did come to the place she was. Instead of waiting a few more minutes he killed himself and as soon as he did this, Juliet woke up with the Friar there. Guards started to come and the Friar ran away, and then Juliet wanted to be with her husband so she killed herself with his dagger. She too has died because of Romeo’s fast rash decisions he
