There are many public sector and not for profit health agencies within the United States health care system. There are health care agencies that are run by the government, Quasi-government and voluntary. The agencies that are Quasi-government are supported by the government but managed privately and there are voluntary health agencies that can be run by private or non-profit agencies, and there are also government run agencies. Government agencies are run by the government and funded through taxes or other government budget appropriations. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is example of a government run agency. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is one of the most important health agencies in the world. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a federal government run agency that relies on stakeholders and partners to offer important insight in planning and evaluating, and contributions in helping Americans live long, healthy, and satisfying lives.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is one of the major operating components of the Department of Health and Human Services. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a United States federal agency located in Atlanta, Georgia that is operated as an independent non-profit group. The agency was a branch of the United States Public Health Service and Atlanta was chosen as the location because malaria was endemic in the Southern United States. This organization was founded in 1942 shortly after World War II as the office of National Defense Malaria Control Activities. It is now used as a channel to inform persons and aid them to make proper decisions concerning their health. The aim of the establishment is to apply health precautions and control techniques to persons from environmental aliment like infectious disease. There are 11 centers and offices of the agency which includes the Centers for Chronic Disease Prevention

With that said, the significance of government agencies within the healthcare arena take on additional challenges in enforcing compliance to operating standards. Government agencies permeate virtually all day-to-day aspects of healthcares goods, services, reimbursement rates, patient protection, hospital accreditation, and licensure of professionals practicing healthcare. The regulatory agencies that enforce compliance to healthcare regulations and legislature provide structure and shape to Americas fragmented healthcare system. From the movement of each dollar in the healthcare arena to how patients and doctors communicate regulatory agencies will continue to translate policy into action and monitor and enforce compliance with healthcare regulations.…
