Case Study: Genting Berhad
Genting Berhad is a Malaysia investment holding and management company. The Genting Group was founded by the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong in year 1965. In the transformation into a listed company in year 1989, the company was changed to Resort World Berhad, followed by Genting Malaysia Berhad. (Genting Berhad, 2015)

Genting Malaysia has been mainly involved in the leisure and catering industry such as games, theme park, entertainments and hotels for more than 45 years. Since the Genting Highlands was opened, Resort World Genting is located in Malaysia has become the first choice and the main tourist destination in the past few years, Genting Theme Park is separate into two different part, it is indoor and outdoor theme park. The biggest attraction of Genting is their famous casino. It is the only legal casino in Malaysia. The casinos feature all the popular gambling games and some of the Chinese games. Gambler from many countries such as China, Taiwan, US, Macau and Europe continuously visit casino. In addition, theme park is other popular attraction of the entertainment village, which include indoor and outdoor. It is provides unique experience of haunted adventures and snow villages and has different categories of individual rides including thriller family and children. For internet addicts, Genting provide the most modern online games in its network of parks. (Anon, 2010) Genting Berhad is a leading multinational corporation has continually been recognized exemplary leadership and management of the organizations in Malaysia.
