Seventeen Magazine is a monthly girl's magazine targeted at the teenage group with an age range of 12 to 24years old (with an average of 18). It has been in publish since in 1944 and is now considered to be the most popular magazine for teenage girls selling between 2.4 and 2.5 million copies each month. Seventeen is a Hearst publication and is based in New York City. Atoosa Rubenstein is the Editor of Seventeen. Before being hired at Seventeen Atoosa was the editor behind the success of Seventeen competitor, CosmoGirl! .
