That you are not just drinking beer, you are building friendships. As if Bud Light’s beer was the intermediary, used to gain friendship with other, which, in a figurative way is; in my opinion, now in days, whenever there is a gathering of people, celebrating something or just grouping for whatever reason, there is beer in the equation.

I think, that for this beer advertisement, it was very smart to bond together a wedding ceremony, with memories that one of the groom’s friend had. In addition, the way they present the story, is very smooth. In my opinion, the images are encouraging you to engage in a friendship, possibly to recognize the friendships that you currently hold, and in a way appreciate them. All this while drinking a Bud Light beer.

I believe that the advertisement maximizes ethos by making you think that the person providing the speech, on that wedding ceremony is a good friend, who values friendship a lot.
