breast cancer
On this day I decided that I was going to marry my best friend. The wedding ceremony took place on December 27th 2008. We used a fire truck as a limo on this day, which is what almost all firemen do on their wedding day. So, I’m going to tell you about my wedding day and some of the greater points, which include: the weather on that day, the ceremony itself, and the reception. Well, you wouldn’t believe the weather on my wedding day. When you think of December weather, what do you think? Most people think of cold, dreary days, and lots of snow. Not on my wedding day though, it was 75 degrees and one of the most beautiful days I have ever seen in December. It was kind of funny about the weather because my wife’s aunt made shawls for the women so they wouldn’t be cold, since our ceremony was on the river. Needless to say the shawls weren’t used. . The ceremony took place in Wellsburg, WV right next to the Ohio River. The actual vowels were read in a gazebo just past the courthouse. It was a beautiful sight because of the sun shining on the river; you could smell the fresh water that had melted in the river, and also the crisp grass that had just been uncovered from the snow. The ceremony was a beautiful one, and it only involved close friends, and family. After we left the ceremony we rode to the reception hall on a fire truck, which is tradition when you are a member of a fire department. The reception took place on Hooverson Heights where I live at, in the fire hall where I am a member. My wife’s aunt was a huge help as she took care of all the decorating, and the food! I still remember the smell of the chicken whenever we walked in the door, it smelled very fresh, and like garlic.. It was a fun time with family and friends, where we were able to calm down and party a little bit. We were amazed by the generosity of our family and friends when it came to the gifts. This was a wonderful event that I will remember for the rest of my life. This was the

First we needed to choose the date. My mother told me she wanted me to be presented at the church and receive a blessing before my party. Then we looked at many halls for the reception, and I chose 14 girls and boys to participate as damas and chambelanes. They were to accompany me on my special day and dance a waltz with me as my court of honor. I chose tuxedos for the chambelanes and a formal dress for the damas. Two months before, we met at my house to learn the waltz.…

December 19th was the day we left Detroit to head to my aunt's house in Orlando Florida for Christmas. But before we got to Florida we made a couple pit stops on the way. The first stop was wildlife in need in Indiana. That was my birthday gift for my parents. We had tickets for the baby tiger playtime. Which was my favorite thing I've ever done. After that we headed to Nashville Tennessee which ended up being our next stop. We stayed at the Hampton inn in downtown Nashville. The next morning we explored for a few hours then meet up with my sister at their hotel. After we hung out with her for a while, we were back on the road again. Instead of take the Georgia route we took the Alabama route because none of us has ever been to Alabama. I haven't…

Last of all, is when my daughter Stephanie got married. I was so proud that she had grown into a beautiful woman and found a man that truly loved her. All eyes were on her as her nervous father gave a small smile as he escorted her down the aisle to the song Canon in D. I started tearing up because she looked exquisite in her white, sparkling, satin wedding gown. When she joined her husband at the altar, you could that see the two of them found their soul mates. At the end of the ceremony, she beamed as she walked down…

    A Memorable Wedding

The most important part of the wedding day is the ceremony. This particular ceremony was quite extravagant. However, I cannot recall every minuscule detail such as what color the candles were. The things that I do remember are the things that were not part of the wedding plans. For instance, when the bride walked into the room to the melody, “Here Comes the Bride,” not a soul stood up. I attribute my disrespect to my lack of wedding attendance. It was an awkward moment. We were sitting there in a sort of dazed stupor while she was cautiously creeping down the isle. Minutes passed with us left in the awkward doldrums of the wedding. We were awaked from our social ignorance by the voice of a loving groom who wanted his future wife to be respected on their wedding day. Every one clamored to their feet making a noise like that of a buffalo stampede. The wedding went on without any other mishaps and surprises.…
