The strategies that can enable BreadTalk to achieve the competitive advantage which is sustainable and be in a position to achieve their mission and objectives include business level strategy, generic competitive strategy, growth strategies, differentiation strategy and corporate level strategy. The company needs to be mindful of the ability it has before implementing the strategy during the stage of strategy formulation. The business level strategy is where the company is able to focus on the specific market for its services and products. The company has had to battle with the various challenges that it has faced, such as the withdrawal of the bun form the stores that were commemorating the first prime minister of the city state, since the consumers had felt that the goods were insensitive. The company had engaged in the unfair practices and had been selling the soya bean milk in the bottles that were mislabeled, and this has led to the loyal customers feeling that the company has betrayed them. It has taken a substantial period for the company to create a business brand, but the soya milk saga has tarnished the image it had worked tirelessly to establish. In bid to rejuvenate the bond that has been existing with their customers, the company organized for the issuance of 50,000 pork floss buns for free in a period of three week beginning August 28, 2015. The company has continued to experience support from the locals, making it able to flourish amidst the scandals. This is among the well renowned companies in Singapore, and the continued dedication to ensure that it remains unique in service delivery, will continue to earn it a lion’s share in the food
