Benefit of Saving for Retirement

I. Do you every wonder about your financial status after you retire? You should save for retirement and do not depend on Social Security. Social Security benefits may not be around in the 20-30 years. Looking at our economic crisis today we may not have the fund to support our Social Security benefit users when they need it. By saving yourself for retirement you are giving yourself a piece of mind so you are able to live comfortably. Who is to say if there are Social Security benefits available to take advantage of that it is enough to live off of? II. Save for retirement do not depend on social security A. During this paragraph I will be able to discuss why saving your own money is better that waiting and depending on Social security B. I will also discuss the best ways to save such as 401k and personal savings III. Social Security may not be around in the next 20-30 years A. The economic crisis may put a halt to Social Security Benefits B. The benefits may be use up and the program may have come to a end when my generation needs it IV. The most important reason to save for retirement and do not depend on Social Security may not be enough to live of off or even live comfortably A. No one that lives just one retirement that I know can make ends meet B. You want to enjoy your retirement you should save so you will have extra money to travel or do other activities as a retiree V. In conclusion, although the benefits our available for our citizens to take advantage of they have paid for it through out the years , save for retirement and do not depend on Social Security for two main reasons. First, social Security benefits may not be around in the 20-30 years. But most importantly, social Security is not enough to support you and have you living comfortably.
