Behavior Essay
Disrespect,

I am copying this essay because I have shown disrespect to the adult teaching this class.
Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. If I treat adults with respect; then I will be treated with respect in return.

Mrs. Marcantel is the adult in this classroom and as an adult she has authority over me. If I disagree with her, I know I can talk to her in a calm and respectful manner. I can speak appropriately without raising my voice. When I show that I can control my behavior and I am sincere in my request to be heard, then Mrs. Marcantel will listen to what I have to say. In return she will solve any problems that exist and promptly correct them.

Mrs. Marcantel as well as my other teachers have a complex job. Showing respect can make that job much easier and run smoother. I have shown respect to Mrs. Marcantel and all of my former teachers in the past, and at this point in time there should be no difference. Mrs. Marcantel expects that I display my best behavior and act accordingly in a classroom setting. It is my sole responsibility to monitor my behavior at all times and keep myself in check without excessive adult interaction.

By disrespecting Mrs. Marcantel I have shown disrespect to my fellow classmates. I have taken valuable time of instruction away from them because Mrs. Marcantel had to stop teaching to give me this very long essay. I have no right to interfere with the education of any of my classmates. In the future; I will show respect to Mrs. Marcantel because that is how I would like to be treated.

Copying this essay is a waste of my time and my classmates and a complete waste of my limited supply of notebook paper. I should be in class paying attention and not talking to my friends, playing. I should be listening and asking questions about the material we are learning. If I show respect to Mrs. Marcantel, I will not have to copy this essay in the future. I will strive for that same
