PREFACE

Summer training is an essential part of management of study. Programmed classroom study only theoretical knowledge of management, which alone is not sufficient for management students because in future they will have to work with different organizations.

Summer training is arranged for student to provide them practical experience of working in organizations.

As a management student I also had to undergo five to six weeks Summer training programme. For this purpose, I joined Khetri Copper Complex, Khetri Nagar (Rajasthan), which is an unit of M/s HINDUSTAN COPPER LIMITED.

The purpose of my visit to Hindustan copper limited was to get practical experience of working in an organization and prepare a project report on the aspects of the company. When I discussed various problems of on the company with the officers, I found than the study of has a great potential to prepare a project report. This is how it prompted me to take up project report on management system of the company.

In this project report on of Khetri Copper Complex {KCC} [A unit of HINDUSTAN COPPER LIMITED], the entire picture of training in KCC is presented. All topics are dealt separately to present a clean framework. The project report present systematic and analytical explanation of management at KCC.

Acknowledgement

There are few things in the life of a person which may be even a short span of time, but leave on ever shining impression on mind set. My summer training is one of the events that I experienced like that. A project report or a research work can’t be successfully completed without the help of various persons. Acknowledgement is not merely a formality but it is an expression of deep sense of gratitude and appreciation.

As I selected HINDUSTAN COPPER LIMITED for summer training at KHETRI NAGAR shared real human resource skill and knowledge from experienced, enthusiastic and cordial executive, without whom I would have not been able to achieve my aim.

Firstly, I would like to special thank to MR. ANUPAM ANAND (DIRECTOR PERSONNEL) for providing me the opportunity to undergo summer training in HINDUSTAN COPPER LIMITED, KHETRI NAGAR.

I am especially grateful indeed to MR. K.P.BISOI, AGM (HRD) and MR. H.S.MANN (MANAGER HRD) for their guidance in spite of their busy schedule in the company and without their help this project could not have been possible. I cannot forget their valuable co-operation and guidance.

I shall be failing in my duty if I do not express my thanks to MR. A.S.VERMA (CHIEF MANAGER) for his moral support and that helped in preparing. I am thankful to other staff member of HINDUSTAN COPPER LIMITED, KHETRI NAGAR for their cooperation.
