Analysis Of Recruitment And Selection In The Organization
Recruitment and Selection is the core function of the HR Department. It refers to the complete process of attracting, selecting and hiring the appropriate candidate for the job position in the organization. According to Edwin Flippo, “Recruitment is the process of searching the candidates for employment and stimulating them to apply for jobs in the organization.” It is the activity which links the employers and the job seekers. The process begins when new recruits are sought and ends when their applications are submitted. The result is a pool of applications from which new employees are selected.
Selection is the process which involves a series of steps by which the candidates are screened for choosing the most suitable candidate for vacant post. The basic purpose of selection is to choose the right candidate to fill the various position in the organization.

The effort was laid down to find the various methods that can be used to attract women in supply chain and leadership position. Some of the ways were education at entry points, the definition of job function should be explained clearly, emphasize and value women’s “collaborative” skills, promote work life balance across the board, support career progression, providing day care facility for the child till later years, reverse mentoring, be attentive to policies and procedures, flexible work schedules and women friendly work environment.
The purpose of this report is to assist the management few ways to increase women employees in the organization to meet up their target. Few things were discovered while doing the project like brainstorming is the trend that is being followed in the organization to extract best ideas from the employees, employee’s referrals is the major source of recruitment for the organization and follow centralized recruitment and

Women establish a very strong emotional contact with the client; at the same time they are treated as being less professional than their male colleagues. Male workers according to the opinion of the employers are more rational.
