Causes of Air Pollution.

The combination of external physical conditions that affect and influence the growth and survival of life is the environment. The social and cultural conditions affect the nature of an individual or community. Having good environment condition in which people live and work is important, but sometimes the society and people attempt against harm the environment. In fact, several main causes of pollution can be attributed to human activity man. For example air pollution that is the cause of many problems in the human health. In California many factors have contributed to air pollution. First, burning fossil fuels are burned, that is part of everyday in California and the rest of the planet and this is the major source of air pollution. The main fossil fuels burned by humans are petroleum or oil, natural gas and coal. Most of the demands on activities of the world-wide energy demand are supplied by the fossil fuels coal, oil or gas for example to drive a car, manufacturing and generating electricity. Consequently, the production of an output of energy through the process of burning fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel releases sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, which are two main air pollutants. In addition carbon dioxide is emitted by the burning of fossil fuels for electricity generation, for industrial uses, transportation, homes and commercial buildings. All industries that manufacture chemicals, metals, fertilizers, perfumes, medicines, plastics and cement emit gases and dangerous into the air that and there are harmful to the environment. Second, deforestation, which is the removal of a forest or stand of trees, is another of the major causes of air pollution because deforestation is a contributor to poor air quality. Trees and other plants remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere during the process of photosynthesis and release oxygen back into the atmosphere during normal respiration. Consequently,...
