7 Healthy Habits Assessment
Taking the 7 Healthy Habits Assessment did not reveal anything that was not already known. The total scored received was a five and the desired results would be that of six or seven. The two areas lacking were normal weight and moderate, regular exercise. These two habits need to be worked on considerably to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle and prolong ones live expectancy. It can be difficult to break those bad habits that some obtain throughout the years. While having small children it is easy to snack every time they ask for something and they do not always desire the healthiest of snacks. It is a self-development, but people need a good support system and finding the triggers of bad habit. The best way to succeed in erasing bad habits

    Family life style has a big impact and influence on one’s health choices either it is good or bad. I was born and raised in Vietnam, which is one of the agricultural countries in the world. Therefore, vegetable and fruits were various and plenty. For that reason, we had learned to practice our cuisine with mainly vegetables and fruits. In addition, playing with my neighbors and swimming in the beach were what I did for entertainment when I was young. Thanks to the background I have experienced, having plenty of vegetables in meal or going outdoor physical activities have become normal in my daily life. Until now, these experiences still affect me like habits. Moreover, I do exercise three times a week for at least half hour. I sometimes walk around neighbor area with my mom.
