Wedding Speech Assignment
So there comes a time in everyone’s life when they meet their one true love, their sole mate, the person they’re going to love for the rest of their life. That moment came for Amy about 22 years ago…when she met me. For those of you who don’t know me, I am Amy’s favorite little sister and I would like to thank everyone for coming out tonight, I know how much it means to Amy’s and Jon to have all their friends and loved ones here celebrate their happiness with them.

Growing up Amy taught me many things, how to tap dance in style, blame things on Sarah (her imaginary friend), The proper way to dance to 80s music (which was wearing a cup on your head and skipping around in circles) and she would even let me lick her birthday candles…after of course she licked all the frosting off of them.

I really couldn’t have asked for a better big sister. She has always been there for me, is an amazing role model, and has achieved so many great things in her life. She is smart, beautiful, kind, and usually only mean when she’s hungry. I am so happy she has found Jon because I know he treats her with respect, dignity, and is a true gentleman. I really feel they are a perfect match, and am happy they found each other. I am finally getting the older brother I never had, and I better be becoming an aunt pretty soon! Haha no pressure.

Now it is my pleasure to invite all of you to raise your glasses and wish my lovely sister and her wonderful groom, a life full of love happiness and success… May your marriage be modern enough to survive times and old fashioned enough to last forever

I am contacting you to inform you of some issues that have I have been concerned with when it comes to Kami and her performance on the JV cheer team. First and foremost, I just want to let you know that it has been a pleasure working with Kami on our team. Kami brings a very energetic and infectious vibe to our team. She has grown tremendously as an individual and as an athlete. However, lately, it is that same energetic and infectious behavior that has become a distraction for the team, especially during our practices. Today, Kami and her team had to run three laps because she was laughing and talking during stunts. As you know as a longtime cheer parent, stunting is a time that has to be taken seriously, otherwise there is the potential for…

My ancestors came in my country of America in chains. Take a look at me now. One more look. Once again perhaps. I see Barack almost everyday, praying as a Muslim in the Oval Office and around the Beautiful House. Also, all the years we have knowing each other, he has been praying as a Christian as I am. I could not be more proud to say, if any Muslim or Christian leader in our wonderful nation, the United States of America, or around the world can run his or her country like he has been running for almost a decade, we will all be living with the Angels in heaven on Earth. But it wasn't easy, look at his gray hair. What we inherited first day we walked in until tonight, it sure wasn't easy. Forget about the odds that were against us, excluding for Oprah. Godly souls always have been showing themselves among their own kind in a gathering dropping…

Another reason my older sister is my favorite sister is that she is compassionate. She has great sympathy for other people’s suffering. For instance, she often tries to help poor and homeless people by donating food, clothes, money, etc. She used to work as a volunteer for in a school for the blind children in Vietnam. I still remember when I saw her taught those children to read by touching the special characters. She patiently held her students’ hand and instructed them. Although it was not an easy job, her face was always radiant with smiles. She often told me to give what I got, and to feel happy helping others. My sister cares deeply about other people more than herself.…
