Humorous Wedding Speech On JV Cheer
Good evening Shari,

I am contacting you to inform you of some issues that have I have been concerned with when it comes to Kami and her performance on the JV cheer team. First and foremost, I just want to let you know that it has been a pleasure working with Kami on our team. Kami brings a very energetic and infectious vibe to our team. She has grown tremendously as an individual and as an athlete. However, lately, it is that same energetic and infectious behavior that has become a distraction for the team, especially during our practices. Today, Kami and her team had to run three laps because she was laughing and talking during stunts. As you know as a longtime cheer parent, stunting is a time that has to be taken seriously, otherwise there is the potential for

Kami was working with a new stunt group and she was not taking it seriously. Later on, during our group meeting, Kami was joking around during our cool down routine and she did not complete her exercise. When I asked her to finish her workout, she argued with me, and she would not do it without the aid of a friend. I had to ask her to leave from practice for the day because of this incident. Finally, Kami has a total of three demerits that needed to be signed and completed two weeks ago, and now she has five. I am sending them home with her home tomorrow. Kami needs to bring these signed and completed in order to participate in practice for the rest of this week. I would love to set up a meeting with you and Kami so that we can discuss her future with cheer. Again, it is unfortunate that I am having to contact you over this issue, but it needs to be addressed in order for us to move on successfully into the future. Thanks for your time Shari, it is

Ten years ago I joined the best supportive family anyone could ever ask for. When I came to Thurgood Marshall I was a shy little girl in her shell trying to find herself. I had low self`esteem and was always worried about what others had thought about me. Being in TMA and growing up with this family has helped me mentally and emotionally especially with the passing of my uncle which was a tough thing for me to get over.…

Hello, I am Mrs. Johnson, Sabra Johnson's mother; I wanted to reply to the letter you sent me a couple of days ago. I am sorry about my daughter cursing you out in class these last couple of weeks. I guarantee you that I had a long discussion with her about her behavior and you shouldn't have any issues with her. As for marching band, my daughter will not be resigning her position as Co-Captain and member of the Marching Blue Devils. Sabra has put in too much hard work and time to quit the color guard now.…

For the past four years, I’ve been captain of my all-star cheerleading team. My teammates are a diverse group of girls, ranging from ten to seventeen years old. Working with a large age group has made me a more patient person. It takes more time and effort to answer a ten-year-old’s question, than a question from a fifteen or sixteen-year-old. I also must be willing to take my time when explaining parts of routines, because everyone learns and understands at different speeds and levels. Along with this patience, I have developed an ability to comfort people. Younger team members often become frustrated by challenging tumbling passes and stunts, when this happens I intervene. I comfort them by providing much needed aid, not solving the problem…

The most memorable day of your life is coming up. Soon all the wedding planning chaos will be forgotten as you walk down the aisle to utter those two words.”I do”. Until then, you have become the center of the endless ideas from your friends, family, and your future in-laws. They envision more old fashion items, ones manufactured and sold at all the big-named stores. But you desire something better; something more personal and intimate that people will remember years to come.…

The stillness of the empty church shattered as fifteen-year-old MaryAnn Levin brushed her fingertip over the ivory organ key. The worn burgundy bench creaked as she sat upon it and poised her fingers over the keyboard. The eerie shrill from the organ resounded off of the creamy walls of Bethany Lutheran Church and the mellow tune of “His Eye is on the Sparrow” drifted around the vacant pews and over the crimson carpet. The words of the melody, which were singing in her heart, brought comfort to her fluster. It was October of 1945 and the Second World War, which had been raging among the nations for the past six years, had been brought to a screeching halt just a month previous. Troops were streaming back to MaryAnn’s hometown of St. Helens,…

When I first began oral communications, the speech I was most excited to give was the interview speech. This is because I knew exactly who I wanted to do and that it would be interesting to get to ask him about his life. In my last speech, I had some struggles and didn’t perform in a way that I strive for. This motivated me to practice my skills more and get better. Just this past week I decided I would give the sport of wrestling a shot. In the past, I have participated in basketball. Since I’m one of the shorter kids in my class I thought I should give up this sport and try something new. Into my first week of wrestling I picked up a quote that’s left a deep affect on me. Coach Allen told us a quote by Winston Churchill that says, “Failure isn’t fatal, and success isn’t final.” This quote says a lot about my personal experience and interview…

Even though we do these every practice, coming of a break is hard to get back into doing the conditioning especially for a fifth grader who isn’t use to doing this much work. It was absolute torture and it still is, but I understand why it is now. Going through my first and second season it got easier, I got stronger and doing the intense routines got easier over time. Even though the worst thing to ever hear is, “full out” which means going through the whole routine with all of the tumbling, stunts, jumps, and the whole dance portion. This is even worse when we already had to do it three times in a row and we are already exhausted. But when it comes time for competition, all she has done for us helps out so much, and we can be proud of how we…

I have been a Junior Olympic Competitive Gymnast for fourteen years and it has shaped me to be the person that I am today. Gymnastics is a large part of my life that has taught me time management, perseverance, and how to believe in myself even when the odds are stacked against me. When I was thirteen years old I qualified to the Level Eight South Eastern Regional Championships of the United States. Level eight in gymnastics is one of the most difficult levels and the one where college coaches start to recruit the best competitors. Without knowing it at the time, this would be an important event in shaping who I am today.…

Walking in, I was welcomed, almost taken in by the sweet warm air. The room was filled with the red cheer mats. It was a cold, foggy day, mid October. I slipped off my fuzzy light brown boots, and put on my bright white, spotless cheer shoes. I looked around at all the other girls, and took a deep breath. I stood up, stepping onto the vibrant red cheer mats, ready to work hard. With the way my day was going so far, I knew it was going to be an interesting tumbling practice.…
