Reactions Involved In The Process Of Cellular Respiration
The reactions involved in the process of cellular respiration are glycolysis, these reactions can be either an aerobic or anaerobic process. In the absents of oxygen the ATP that is produced is limited to anaerobic respiration. Oxidization of one glucose molecule forms two pyruvic acid molecules. This is done by a set of glycolysis reactions, which is the formation of acetyl coenzyme A, Krebs cycle reactions, and electron transport reactions. The Krebs cycle reactions are when molecules that carry hydrogen enters the electron train reactions which, take hydrogen atoms and split them into protons and electrons. The produced energy from electrons, provide energy for phosphorylation of ATP. Since glycolysis does not require oxygen it can occur
