Introduction In an attempt to solve the beautiful mystery of consciousness, pansychists proposed that consciousness is a feature of the fundamental particles. By proposing that consciousness is fundamental, panpsychism fits into the framework of modern science nicely, and it is a hypothesis that is worth to test. I know that I am conscious, and based on my observation of you, you may as well also be conscious. Conscious is so close to us that we experience (and thus conscious) almost every moment when we are awake. But what is consciousness? How does the firing of neurons give rise to my consciousness? How does my brain process information? Professor David Chalmers labeled the first two as “hard problems”, while the last one is an “easy problem”. In the last two decades, tons of resources have been poured into scientific researches of conscious. It is true that different parts of our brain are associated with different experience, we can have a part our brain doing logical reasoning, and another part controls our emotions. But the conscious feeling of depressed when we are working on math proofs cannot really explain by any parts of our brain alone, because the feelings are integrated; and once it is integrated, it will not be making any sense to think that different parts of our brain are doing separate thinking, it is our brain, as a single integrated system, that is doing the thinking.
