2. The lessons we take from the obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?

So in the past, I had a setback that affected me, I put myself on a setback on a mental state, but I overcame that with the hard work and dedication that I put in to be on track to graduate with my class. The first day of school junior year I came into school to find out that I am still a sophomore. I was heartbroken and I thought that I would never graduate high school. I promised myself I wouldn't fail like this ever again. I tried to see the wrong before I can do right, I wanted to see what was stopping me what was holding me back. I wanted to do better for myself and graduate on time, But things kept on adding up one by one piece by piece. I had to change something so I tried focusing more asking questions in class staying in for lunch.

I knew I could do this-this whole time but I was holding myself back I wasn't showing my full potential. I proved it to myself with all the work and all the studying I have been through you can still make it. At first, i thought I wasn't going to make it but I stopped waiting around for someone to help me and I helped myself up. I helped myself achieve and thrive throughout the school year. Concentration, studying, and hard work helped me help myself to better myself and come over my obstacle that I was facing it helped me better myself and prove to myself that I can do better. In conclusion through all my actions and dedication in the past helped me get over my obstacle and get back on track to where I am now at my senior year at John f Kennedy high

    I had so much doc visit and I missed so much school that I knew there were test to make up and all.
