Personal Narrative: My Failure At Laguardia High School

In order to be successful it is necessary to fail a few times. For example, when learning how to swim, you are not going to start swimming once you get into the water. Although you failed, you continued to try to swim until you were successful.
I experienced failure when I had a singing audition at LaGuardia High School for a chance to be accepted into the school. However, although I did not get into the school, resulting in a failure, I refused to have the result have a negative effect on me. This failure affected me in the most positive way. It showed me that I needed to practice more on my vocals and techniques. Over the years I have built up my confidence and learned proper singing techniques. When singing I no longer a shy voice, but I sing as if I were the one to write the song, strong and powerful. From this experience I learned numerous things. Therefore, no matter the goal you are trying to reach, always know failure comes with the enjoyment of success. If I felt like a failure after finding out I did not receive the opportunity to be accepted into the school, I would not have been able to push myself to become greater. Try and you shall succeed. If being successful or achieving a goal was easy; many people would be successful already. However, since being successful or achieving a goal takes a great deal of time and comes with failure; some people rather give up than keep on
