NAME: FAVOUR BABATUNDE
GRADE: 10C

TASK DEFINATION
Why am I doing the investigation?
This investigation is done for the purpose of e-communication. The school governing body wants to know what the different types of e-communication learners and people in the community use, how they use it, what they use it for, what their experiences are and how familiar they are with different types of e-communication so that they may be able to tap into some of these technologies to enhance learning and teachings. This would include a questionnaire and data with different types of questions about e-communication. This data/information would have to be interpreted and a report would have to be typed out.
What will the focus of my investigation be?
The focus of my investigation is about a communication that will create a new channel of ways to interact with people, friends and family. This type of information must bring a new challenge for people and instead of have to create a meeting point to communicate you can just chat to one another via networking. What does the school need to help improve teachings and learning through e-communication.
How will I go about it (The investigation).
E-communication would be investigated via a questionnaire and information via research on internet that would make it easier to find different source on what e-communication is and how it can be used.
Who is the information for (target audience?)
I have to combine numerous media like text, graphics sound, and video into a single message for students and the youth who loves interacting with each other. The target here also is to help schools with installing software into a computer with a work load for the student to have each term. This will help give teachers the benefit of the doubt that students are working in class and not abandoning their work for another day because camera would be installed and the teacher would be able to watch what students are doing.

“To David, About his Education” by Howard Nemerov, explains that education isn’t always as important as you think. Nemerov supports the fact that outside knowledge and experience are far greater amenities then education alone. Nemerov advocates his theme by using literary devices such as verbal irony and tone. Nemerov mocks the way children are traditionally taught by using the devices for sarcasm to balance the pretend seriousness he conveys in the poem. For example Nemerov states, “The world is full of mostly invisible things… to find them out, things like how many times Byron goes into Texas… you have to go to school and study books.”…

Chapter 10 considers marriage and family. An important concept related to this is the selection of a mate. Sociologists have determined that there are several trends in this process, one of which is called: homogamy. Explain what this term means and relate it to a couple that you are familiar with, making specific references to traits that they share. (remember not to confuse homogamy with endogamy.) then read, Sociology and the New Technology - “Online dating: risks and rewards,” on page 328. Explain how an understanding of principles supporting the mate selection process relates to the concept of online dating and then incorporate the answers to the Questions in the “For your Consideration” section at the end of the reading into the last part of your journal.…

Belonging can be defined in many ways as there is no exact meaning, though belonging can be defined as a sense of enlightenment felt when an individual gains an understanding of themselves in relation to others and the world around them. The feeling of belonging does depend on a strong relationship between people that has been developed over a period of time either short or long. In the film ‘strictly ballroom’ the director Baz Luhrmann clearly shows how the protagonist’s develop a sense of acceptance towards each other as the film progresses and this allows their relationship to strengthen over time. Also in the poem ‘wind and window flower’ written by Robert Frost the theme of relationships and depicts the idea of unrequited love.…

The audience gains a greater understanding and appreciation of the consequences and societal issues presented through the author’s texts of changing perspectives. This greater understanding is represented by a wide range of language techniques showing the quality of a change of perspective in life. In the short story ‘Forgotten Jelly’ by Megan Jacobson, it demonstrates how an individual understands the consequences and issues while time progresses, which in turn leads to a change of perspective. Likewise, in the poem ‘Mending Wall’ by Robert Frost, we observe how, as the characters develop, they understand and gradually learn more about the perspective of others and eventually leading to a change of their previous views.…

As I finish reading ‘The Odyssey’, story that is told by homer a poet who loved to tell stories of the gods and all the adventures and journeys the heroes went through. Odysseus the man who is astute and cares nothing but to get home to Ithaca where there, lies his kingdom, life, wife, and son who he had left when he was just born. While some might argue that Odysseus is not a hero, his decidedly heroic actions outweigh all of his faults because he is dishonest, self-centered, disloyal and disrespectful. He doesn’t care if he puts his man in danger he just wants to come back to Ithaca.…

A hero is a man noted for his special achievements according to the dictionary, but if you ask most people what a hero is, you will get the same general response. They will probably say someone who does something for other people out of the goodness of his heart. Odysseus, who is the main character of the story, "The Odyssey" told by Homer, would fit the dictionary's definition of a hero; but if you go deeper, looking at what people feel a hero is, he doesn't even come close. In the book, Odysseus does nothing out of the goodness of his heart. Even if Odysseus fought in the Trojan War, he is not a hero because he is self-centered and ignorant to other peoples' values and needs.…

A journey is when one has experienced a dramatic transition in their life, which as a direct result has changed them physically, mentally or emotionally. Throughout Peter Skrzynecki’s poetry, he expresses all types of journeys during his childhood and how he, through very few words in his poems, dealt emotionally with these alterations. In the poems “Crossing the Red Sea”, “Immigrants at Central Station” and “Leaving Home” Skrzynecki explores the use of poetic techniques through his poems such as metaphors, repetition, and similes giving the reader a sense of the challenges he encountered or was about to encounter. In my related text, “Castaway” by Robert Zemeckis it discovers the difficulty of sticking to your physical journey while balancing the inner struggle (journey). It also shows how Tom Hanks (Chuck Noland) deals with the different obstacles that he is to face on the island alone through the use of a variety of film techniques.…

Do you consider their maturity level and ability to comprehend an emergency situation or do you just assume at the age of 16 they are ready to start driving? This has been a concern for many years now and is still being questioned to this day. Teen driving has many fatal results but they differ in age groups. Some people are worried 16 is too young for a teen to be driving and believe the legal driving age should be raised to 18.…
