11-26: Should this unlimited vacation policy be adopted in all countries or do you think it won’t work well in certain countries? Explain your answer using examples.

Discretionary Time Off Policy or better known as DTO is still a hot topic among companies that are taking a fresh look at their benefits. Companies like Netflix and Virgin adopting this policy in their companies. This policy has its own pros and cons. However, I personally think it won’t work well in certain countries.

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the capacity to screen and deal with one's own feelings, to react sympathetically to others, and to utilize feelings in basic leadership. Google is a well-known company and they have this program called Search inside Yourself (SIY) created and lead by Google's Chade-Meng Tan. In his book, Search Inside Yourself, he says the way to satisfaction and the way to enthusiastic insight are strikingly comparative. Tan as he gets a kick out of the chance to be called, was Google representative #107, a product design with a longstanding Buddhist reflection rehearse, who made a class for Google architects to enable them to create passionate knowledge. Tan believe that, careful consciousness of what's happening in the brain and body like considerations, sentiments, feelings, physical sensations and infection is an essential stride in developing inward delight. It will be developed oneself and make our mind be alert. As we know Google engineers needs to alert all the time to face new challenges and crisis.
Fourthly, make mindfulness a habit. Google’s engineers may not think of inner peace as something that you can develop through creating good habits, but Tan explains that happiness is a habit that you can create through a daily mindfulness practice. We can train our engineers to have this habit in order to create happiness within them which will also lead them to work efficiently.
In a nutshell, these are the reasons why emotional intelligence is important to Google’s engineers. Emotional intelligence definitely help them to boost their positivity and lead them to concentrate on work.
