Avengers vs The dark knight
“Go go power rangers” should be the theme song of The Avengers…. for the $220 million budget was a complete waste when the result are cheap Halloween like costumes, The Dark Knight on the other hand used it $250 million budget wisely. It’s hard to compare these two movies, for it’s a shame to compare such a great movie to such a waste of time (The Avengers). The Dark Knight follows Harvey Dent; Gotham’s new district attorney as he tries to take on the mob who is led by the Joker, Gotham has a hero whom the Joker is trying to unmask called Batman who is Bruce Wane. Many character later in the movie find themselves falling into the Joker’s hands and becoming dark themselves. The Avengers has little of a Plot basically there’s a magic orb like thing and a bunch of super heroes trying to get it from a villain…. That’s it…
Most super hero movies are so unrealistic I stay away. The Dark Knight though, it is terrorism on steroids. I feel as if a terrorist could watch it and take a few notes from the Joker himself! The Dark Knight in its simplicity is simply about crime. Of course it is such a complex movie though. From the bombs, to the grenades to the guns everything was manmade and anything in this movie could have happened in real life. The Avengers on the other hand is so unrealistic…. from the hovercraft turning invisible to the hulk, ironman, captain America , thor, and just the hovercraft in general…
Actors…wow… The Dark Knight had them all… From Christian Bale as Bruce Wane/ Batman to Morgan Freeman, to Heath Ledger as the Joker. The entire cast was AMAZING! Although Heath in particular was just outstanding. Heath died of overdose before the movie was released; many believe the role of the Joker had a lot to do with that. Heath made every moment the Joker was on screen my favorite the Joker is my favorite character of any movie ever, and made The Dark Knight my all-time favorite movie ever also. As for actors in the Avengers, I didn’t see any that stood out

Well, here it is folks, the big one. This is the most heated debate in all of the Battle Forums all over the net. You've got The Outskirts Battle Dome, ComicVine, Comic Book Universe Battles, Anime Eden, Killer-Movie Forums, and many, many others. Now, it's our turn. It's AnimeVice's turn to show the Battles community that we are, in fact, the most diverse, unbiased Battle Community on the net. How are we going to do it? By having the biggest, most problem riddled battle debate ever on our site. However, the only way to gain respect about this is for each person to use common sense, accept defeat if need be, by not trolling, and by not starting unnecessary flame wars about this debate. Feats should be sourced, comments should make sense, and you should never, ever comment this debate with the simple one liners we treat other battles like, because that is a big part of what causes these flame wars. Alright, I've said my piece, now it's time for the debate to begin.…

The superhero, Iron Man, once said, “If we can 't protect the Earth, you can be damn sure we 'll avenge it” (The Avengers). The Marvel movie, The Avengers, came out in 2012, which depicts a group of six mighty heroes who were brought together to fight a common threat, and they called themselves, The Avengers. In The Avengers the main characters and many scenes deliver different ideas of American identity and the American experience. Captain America sets the foundations when it comes to the view on patriotism, American history, and unity; Tony Stark practically single handedly changed modern technology, and because The Avengers group…

There are good movies and then there are movies that simply blow your mind. Since 2005, the “Dark Knight” trilogy has captivated its viewers with its deep story line and compelling characters. Christopher Nolan’s latest installment of the “Dark Knight” trilogy definitely belongs in the latter category. The Dark Knight Rises is the epic conclusion to the trilogy and viewers will not be disappointed because entire film is jam packed with intense, fast paced action and heart wrenching emotion from the first scene to the very last. Being a fan of this story I expected the movie to deliver a deep entertaining story backed up with a rock solid cast of characters.…

One summer night, July 20, 2012, a gathering of joyful people pile into a Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, waiting in anticipation to watch the midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises. Half-an-hour into to the movie, an intense gun-fighting scene comes onto the screen, and a man dressed in tactical clothing walks in front. Smoke starts to rise and spread through the theater. The audience members soon have burning eyes and itching throats. For the slightest moment for some, it was thought to be special effects or a prank, until a horrific blaze of gunshots sound throughout the theater, the smoke-like substance soon recognized as tear gas, and the man as a sinister killer . Round after round, the twisted man fired into the audience as the people rushed out to evacuate the building. In the end, the horrific outcome had twelve people killed and seventy others injured. In instances like these, the U.S is reminded of the danger of guns, and how their availability to even the most mentally unstable of people can be dangerous. “The U.S. has the highest rate of gun ownership in the world, according to data compiled by The Guardian, with around 88 guns for every 100 people” (Eaton). All but 14 states in the U.S do not require a license for a gun, and there are many holes in…

Frank Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight Returns questions what is right and what is wrong. It makes you wonder if the government is the bad guy, or if it is the criminals, or maybe even Batman himself. Miller uses duality and creates closure to show that there is always another side of the coin and all you have to do is flip it to see it. He also uses art to build context and tension by starting with art that is abstract. The art slowly changes to brighter colors and less abstract art as the tension of the plot builds. With the use of an iconic archetypal vigilante seeking justice, Miller also emphasizes the ever-present question of morality.…

    Avenger Movie Summary

    • 3 Pages

Marvel The Avengers is my number one favorite superhero movie. I love how all the major superheroes are together in one film, such as, Thor, Ironman, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. Like the Avengers, there are many other superhero movies. Examples are Superman, Spiderman, and Wolverine. A superhero movie consists of a hero who possesses extraordinary, often magical powers. Most superhero movies are based on comic books. A superhero movie is a movie that is focused on the actions of one or more superheroes. These individuals, who usually have superhuman abilities unlike a normal person, and are dedicated to protecting the public. Theses movies typically feature action, fantasy and science fiction elements. The first film of every superhero movie often focuses on the origin of the powers that the superhero has. Last, a superhero movie includes a fight between the superhero and the super villain or archenemy.…
