I Believe in Being Best Friends with Your Sister Essay Example
This is the person you can share your secrets with, the person you can be fighting with one minute and be laughing with the next. This is the person that knows all your dreams and ideas, the one who points out your flaws and mistakes. This is the person that will actually tell you, "Yes, you look fat in those jeans," or "That shirt is hideous." This is the person that has seen you at your best and at your worst, the person you can cry with. This is the person that you taught how to braid someone's hair and how to do laundry, this is your partner in crime. This is the person you've been through everything with. Having a sister is like having a best friend you cant get rid of, even if you really want to.

My sister and I are a year apart. Being so close in age, we would always be getting into some kind of crazy adventure when we were little. When we weren't torturing our neighbors, our favorite thing to do was play house outside making soups and stews out of gross, flowers, leaves and whatever else we could make us of in our yard. But 95% of the time, we would be clawing each others eyes out and pulling each other's hair. I can still picture my mom laughing at us and hearing her say "One day you and your sister are gunna be so close, just watch." We would both deny it, saying "Ew, no way. I don't even like her."

The Things a Brother Knows by Dana Reinhardt is the story of Levi Katznelson. Levi is concerned about his brother, Boaz Katznelson, who just returned from Iraq. Albeit his brother was deemed healthy, Levi still believes there is something wrong with Boaz. Once Boaz leaves for his trip, Levi is left with a choice either to stay and let his brother be, or follow his brother and discover Boaz’s problem. The Things a Brother knows is a greatly written book and I enjoyed the storyline throughout the book. I believe what made this book so great is the storyline, the characters themselves, and setting of the story.…

It was either learn to play football with my cousins and brother or play barbies all by myself. There are many people that would fit the mold of what kind of person I was looking for to shadow, but after much contemplation I decided on my sister, Gabriela Mladin. One of the key reasons that I chose my sister, Gabriela is that she is always ready to help people that are in need of assistance. For example, there are countless times where she sacrificed her time to take me to soccer practice and would always go out of her way to bring me food. Another great reason for choosing my sister would be that it is easy to follow her and see how she approaches different obstacles in life. The third and final reason I chose to follow her around is that she works at a fast casual restaurant named PDQ, and that is the same place would like to work at during high school.…
