Personally I am not better than the others applying for scholarships. I am not high and mighty but neither am I low to sabotage some one else by putting myself above them. If you’ve read my essays you will understand about me you will see why I need the scholarship and if you have not well then I am happy for who ever receives the scholarship. I am just as deserving of a scholarship as the person in line in front of me. Some might think that it’s selfish to think that by receiving this scholarship it will put me a step closer to the goals I have placed on my road of life. But in reality it will give me the financial backing to continue my education to university level to continue to reach for the stars no matter what stands in me way. I think that the goals and education choices I have set for myself are great. I would love to spread my passion to others and help others achieve success with their education; I want to share what I know. I want to ensure that students are learning what they need to learn to make it in the world, not just be taught how to pass a test. I want to show my future students work on the wall of my future classroom. I do not want a test but the efforts that I went through to show in their life and in their work. That’s why I need this scholarship I want to show the fruits of my past teachers in my work because in reality it was them who gave me the nudge in the right direction. Being a doctor was not my path being a Great teacher was.
