Why Should We Use Green Concealer?
Why Use Green Concealer?

Because our skin is imperfect, they make concealers and makeup. I use both when the occasion calls for it. I'm not one those girls who is afraid to show her flaws, however, some events demand I look my best. When I use a concealer, I reach for my favorite cover ups - a natural green concealer.

The green concealer is tremendous protection from the sun and it helps diminish the appearance of the scars and red pigmentation in my skin I gained from having acne. However, if you use concealers wrong, it can ruin the way you look. You must know how to apply it and how much to use.

Dab a tiny bit over the spot you want to vanish and then cover it with makeup.
Pick a color that contains a yellow base to it, especially if you have a warm or olive skin tone. If you're a cool tone, use something with a shade of blue. Makes sense?
I would suggest using a brush to apply it. If you are using the concealer to cover a scar, make sure to use a primer first.
After you have put on your primer, concealer and foundation, you may need to apply a second coat of makeup. This time, finish it with a sheer powder makeup that evenly compliments your skin tone.

Now that you have the proper instructions on how to apply it, would you like to know how to make your own?

How to Make Your Own Green Concealer

Ingredients you must have:
Moisturizer (can sub out with a thick organic lotion)
Matte eye shadow and blush
Brush or applicator
For those red spots, use a blush that has yellow undertones as this will also help eliminate the visibility of dark circles under your

Unlike other bloggers, I haven't been seeing this product giving me a 'glow', fade my PIH/redness, or fade the fine lines in my eyes. I can't say if it did anything about the fine lines on other parts of my face because I may be too young to develop those at this moment. Use soft natural colors on eyes, cheeks, and lips. Browns, pinks and neutral are all appropriate choices. We do require that you wear mascara and lipstick or gloss. Remember, you never know when there will be a camera in your face. Do not clump your eyelashes with mascara. One to two coats of most mascara is more than enough. Wear lipstick or gloss, making sure to refresh the application throughout the day as needed. Wear a light blush for day and deepen the color for evening. Be sure to blend all makeup. When applied, makeup shouldn't appear as if you are wearing a mask. Orange faces and necks that appear to be a different color are not…

Nature colors like tans and beige are good light reflectors, and tend to brighten up your eyes. Then choose a color a little darker than the color you used on your lid. Apply it to the crease of your lid, making a window wiper motion inwards toward your nose. Blend very well with a small angled brush so they blend together evenly. Next step is to contour your cheek bones. This is to make your face appear slimmer. You’re going to want a blush brush. Choose a tan color one to two shades darker than your base color. Make sure to tap the excess powder off before you apply it. Apply from your temple to your cheek bone around the crease of your mouth, and under your jaw bone. This will enhance your jaw line. Now take a clear unused blush brush, and go over what you just did. Make sure you blend with the brush really good.…

Make-up is one of my favorite things to do. I thought I knew so much about make-up but the truth is that I didn’t. There are so many things to learn about make-up. When I was at M.A.C Cosmetics in the Lehigh Valley Mall I learned so many new things. I even learned about what to do when the make-up is off your face. When a girl is using make up she should constantly be taking care of her face. She should be cleansing her face everyday twice a day, day and night. There are cleansers for different skin types. Milk or cream cleanser is for dry skin and a foam or gel cleanser is for oily skin. She should also tone her face, toners refresh, hydrate, and soften the skin. Toners should also be used twice a day everyday; after cleansing and before moisturizing. Moisturizing should also be done; oil free moisturizer is for oily skin and richly emollient cream is for dry skin. Moisturizer should have UVA and UVB protection. Exfoliating is also another thing to do after make-up is off the face. Exfoliating scrubs helps smooth the skins surface. Last but not least, masking; masking soothes the skin and draws out all of impurities that have been deep in skin. It should be applied at least once a week.…
