Why Illegals Should Be Deported
Why Illegal Immigrants should be deported!

Immigrants come to America chasing hopes and dreams of someday having a life of wealth. The United States has this imagine that everything will be better and all your problems will be solved. However, in the last century we’ve had a raise of Illegal Immigrants in the country.

With our economy in the trash and millions out of work it would be helpful if Americans could find work. Even before the economy crashed millions were finding it hard to find a job. One of the main reasons is because illegal immigrants will work for less money and get paid under the table. According to a study a Wall Street investment firm called Bear Stearns did four to six million jobs have taken over by immigrants since 1990. Also, before the recession the poor was already having trouble finding work. The reason for this is business would rather forgo paying taxes on workers, have cheap cost, and save money. Along with this it cause’s the country to spend millions of dollars on Illegal’s who are not paying taxes for programs they use.

The tax payers pay in to government programs that provide assistance to many families. Illegal Immigrants’ use these programs without ever having to pay in. It is reported by the IRS that six million file individual income tax returns. With government programs 11-22 billion is spent on welfare, 2.2 billion in food assistance, and 2.5 billion in Medicaid. Many understand that some of those are used for the Illegal’s children who do become American citizens. It is also unfair that while the rest of the United States is working hard for their benefits many get to work without having to pay in and get them for free. This makes many think that the Immigrants do not respect our Country enough so they shouldn’t be here.

Respect should be a key important factor when living in the United States. If you do not respect it, then how can you live here? Respect can come in many different forms. One of these ways is to

Many Americans believe that immigrants are stealing jobs from them, when in reality most Americans do not have the willpower to get a job and the immigrants see an opportunity for a job and take it. By the time the natives apply for the job it is already taken because they were too late. Americans also say that immigrants do not pay their taxes, “According to a report from The Institute on Taxation & Economic Policy (ITEP), they pay a hefty amount of state and local tax, just like other people living in the United States. Collectively, America’s undocumented immigrants pay an estimated $11.64 billion in state and local taxes every year with at least 50 percent of undocumented immigrant households filing tax returns using Individual Tax Identification Numbers”(Forbes). That $11.64 billion dollars that is taken is from sales and excise taxes, property taxes and personal income taxes, Immigrants pay as much taxes as the average American does if not…

Immigrants, both legal and illegal continue to immigrate to the United States of America for opportunities. But illegal immigrants have a good and bad effect to the economy and the country. For example illegal immigrants are committing a crime. In most instances, they did not apply for a visa at a U.S. Consulate, they did not pay the visa application fees, they were not interviewed for worthiness to enter the U.S., their backgrounds were not checked to see if they were dangerous criminals or narcotics traffickers and they obviously failed to respect the U.S.'s laws. Furthermore, they often times illegally work in the U.S., and they steal or illegally use somebody else's Social Security number to gain employment. Therefore, many times an illegal alien breaks three federal laws.…

Some people argue that although illegal, immigrants still pay taxes (Carabelli 2-3). Numerous immigrants get false Social Security numbers in order to find jobs. Having these Social Security Numbers, employers are able to withhold all types of taxes. According to the internal revenue service, “... about 6 million unauthorized immigrants file individual tax returns each year [thus confirming] estimates that between 50 percent to 75 percent of unauthorized immigrants pay federal, state, and local taxes” [ (Carabelli 3) ].However, according to the united States General accounting office, a report they did shows that even if illegal immigrants do pay taxes, benefits provided to them cost more than they contribute, causing the United States a huge loss of money [ (Carabelli 4) ]…

Most believe that they are sucking on the blood of the American welfare state for free, which is false. Paying taxes without rights or representation reminds one at the beginning of this great nation as the calling cry was “No taxation without representation”,which is not held up to this day by the US Government, who is actually milking the illegals dry without giving them the rights of American Citizens.”The 50-state analysis by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy released on Thursday found that roughly 8.1 million of 11.4 million undocumented immigrants who work paid more than $11.8 billion in state and local taxes in 2012, even while they were living illegally in the country”(Pianin). Proving the point that illegals pay taxes. They paid 11.8 billion dollars, which is a lot of money coming from people who don't have jobs that pay real well and first of all they have to support their own families.”The federal government would accrue $4.5 billion to $5.4 billion in additional net tax revenue over just three years if the 11 million undocumented immigrants were legalized”(Beadle). More money will come into the government, which can be allocated to sectors that needs more funding. This is a win win for both the illegal immigrants as they will be granted citizenship, but also it is a win for the government that has been oppressing them for years, with the result of more money…

Illegal immigrants do not have to problem receiving the benefits given to them by taxes, but they have a problem paying their own taxes. Taxpayers pay a total of 12 billion dollars for school education for students of illegal immigrants. Illegal immigration has given the United States a bunch of people who will not only take money from Americans, but also their jobs. From 2008 to 2010, it was estimated that 7.7 illegal and legal immigrants were employed, and in the time period many Americans were also losing their jobs. It is said that illegal immigration helps the economy, however, illegal immigrants receive around $25,000 in government support. For illegal immigrants who do pay taxes, they still only pay around $10,000. This leaves a $15,000 deficit, which is not very good for our economy. I am pretty sure if the government made all illegal immigrants reimburse for the benefits given to them, many of these illegal aliens would not want to come live in the United…

The immigrants that cross our borders illegally and work for low wages are depriving American citizens of the chance to seek the employment opportunities that are no longer available. Many of these immigrants work under the table and deprive the governments of the tax revenue they generate. In an article by Barbara Anderson of the American Chronicle, she states, “Low paid illegal aliens cannot feed their families on those wages any better than a citizen can and must use our social welfare benefits to make ends meet.” In the article she made a comment on a Bear Sterns report that of the twenty million illegal immigrant workers in the United States, five million do not pay taxes, social security or insurance. The report states, “Those five millions cheat the government out of over thirty five billions dollars a year. At the same time they receive thirty billion a year in government largess.” Reducing overhead costs with low wages and no benefits, employers are able to outbid competitors and effectively put legitimate companies out of work. Besides losing revenue for taxes,…

Do the so called “illegal immigrants” really deserve to be deported back to their homeland, especially when there are so many different opportunities in which they can benefit our nation? Immigration throughout the U.S. has been an issue for a couple of years now. The rate at which illegal immigrants coming over has dwindled down exponentially over those years too. Yet immigrants shouldn’t be deported just because they want to come over the border and begin a new start. Allowing them to stay and just getting rid of the criminals that have came over and caused problems for the society could benefit the nation. While doing my paper I discovered that illegal immigrants come from everywhere not just from cross the border, the government tax revenue, the increase in jobs from the extra tax money, and sending the problem immigrants back to their homelands.…

Illegal immigrants receive free emergency room health care by the federal emergency medical treatment and labor act which requires U.S hospitals to provide care no matter what their legal status. (Book) For the medical bills not paid by illegal immigrants, insured Americans rates are raised to make up the lost funds. How is all this fair?
