An anthropologist is defined as a person who studies humanity. Studying everything that makes humans human from the different traditions of a community rather than other communities. A first year anthropologist is just starting off getting a feel for her job and exploring new things to see what might work and what might not work with different types of people. Something might not work and then there might be a change needed to accommodate for the certain type of person you are trying to study.
