Provide a brief description about the results the team member achieved this year towards their goals/priorities.
Among the many priorities John had this year, one was to fully staff the vehicle supply department and to resume the responsibilities which had been acquired by other associates outside the department. John was able to resume managing the pool vehicles and revamp the process to comply with company guidelines and eliminate the misuse of the vehicles. John also managed to negotiate new locations to handle these pool vehicles throughout the Region to try and eliminate vehicle theft and limit their damage, while still providing a positive customer experience to associates and guests utilizing the vehicles.

John exhibited proficiency in all competencies during the review period, but specifically he excelled in the following:
Delight - John encouraged and empowered his associate customers, Ellen and Briana, to make decisions which would allow them to accomplish tasks relating to the department’s external customers at a time when the department was shorthanded. He allowed them to prioritize the tasks of the open position and the tasks of their assigned positions along with their own schedules to work through all of the tasks and he supported them in the direction they suggested that the department should go. In his support he also helped set expectations for the department’s customers as to how tasks were being prioritized and how long tasks would take under the circumstances. John followed up his support for his team by recognizing and rewarding their efforts to work through the challenging times.
