What Are My Goals In High School

As a freshman in high school I knew little about the experience I would have. I still remember the first day very well. I wasn't aware of the distractions that would come with being in this school, but I did know what I wanted. Many diversions take place while trying to keep in mind what is important.I knew I wanted a future that held many opportunities. I believe in goals. I think setting a goal is very important when attaining an education. Goals are also crucial in general.A goal can be as simple as the amount of time spent studying or a grade that needs to be improved. Learning is a privilege that some take for granted. A higher education is most definitely the next step to my future. I have always been determined to graduate high school and college. Another reason for this desire pertains to the lack of family members who have not. The satisfaction of receiving a diploma should be appreciated by everyone. I have witnessed where a high school degree takes one in life, and it does not provide what a college degree provides.While a high school degree offers some jobs, these career paths may not provide the same options.
